Please excuse me while I just die a little bit at this piece of magic I now get to wear every day ❤️💍✨ ‘I asked you if I could take some books from the house to have in my dorm room. You reached up, pulled on my neck, and kissed me on the top of the head. I pulled away. "Maybe the books will protect you," you said. "Take all the books you need. And don't fight when you're angry. Think when you're angry. Write when you're angry. Read when you're angry. Don't let those people shoot you out of the sky while I'm gone." ‘ One of my aims for 2023 is to go back to creating art just for the hell of it. I’ve made myself a little sketch book, and I’m going to try to fill it this year 🎨 She’s done it again! My clever sister @rebecca.draws.things has illustrated another incresible book for little people: My Perfect Family @myperfectfamilybook 💚 My wonderful friend @marzy_37 had a birthday party a few weeks ago, and she gave us party bags, which included a fairy bread cross stitch kit, and from now on, I think we need to normalise adult birthday parties with party bags 🥳 Just a cute little friend hanging out with me on my tea break at work this morning 🦋☕️ happy Friday! #amediting some really difficult words this morning, so I’m sitting in a busy cafe with lots of distractions and a little treat to help me through 🧁☕️ I read my very first graphic novel! It took me all of an hour - pictures make things SO much quicker 😅 I am a BEYOND useless housekeeper. I only started vacuuming a few years ago when cordless stick vacuums became a thing. I don’t separate my darks and colours. I don’t iron. I don’t clean toilets or showers (I recently started sacrificing a few brunches so I could outsource bathroom cleaning to someone who knows what they’re doing).
